Not sure how they determined who to lay off. Very difficult for a single person, a little too young to file for social security but a little too old for a slim job market. Felt like the rug being pulled out from under me and it was definitely a removal of all income with the exception of unemployment which is not sufficent to pay bills and it removed the ability to prepare for retirement as I will be living off of my savings during my search for employment and I will have very little time to recup the savings. I know I gave them my 100 percent and more but I cannot support myself on that knowledge. This was poorly handled in the way it was communicated to several others that were also laid off which has left a very bad taste for the company. It just shows that we are all just a number as those in charge of all of this have just gone on with their lives and will completely forget about us and it is just now business as usual. Anger, yes...will I get over it maybe...will I ever forget no.
