Potential upcoming layoff round. Don't know where it's coming from

Has anyone heard what positions are being let go?

Bio-Rad has had laid of several large group of people over the last six months. 40 to 50 people were laid off in November, 2013 and 30 plus in January, 2014

Not sure why people are silent here. Fear maybe. Bio-Rad management can be scary

No layoffs. Good company to work for. And we're in the middle of a long-term recession.

Layoffs across divisions. No mention in q2 earnings report so maybe because of severance payments that will delay visibility until q3.

They lay off people often. Just look at their Glassdoor reviews and you'll see. Avoid. Read and avoid.

I was let go on Fri, I was with company for about three years, it was handled pretty OK, I was not expecting it but in a way i was glad due to my personal situation - good luck to all of you
