Pearson Layoffs 2025

Anyone would care to chime in with a prediction about potential Pearson layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Silence

The dead silence of this group suggests: 1. Everyone who knew about it got fired or 2. Pearson has trolled it and people have been told to STFU. To resurrect it, hold on to your hats because insane stuff is to come.

More layoffs

I know there were some cuts yesterday, but what about today? Does anybody know more about what's happening?

Thoughts on new CEO

I feel like he’s very much working behind the scenes and I don’t have a sense of his plan for the future (besides AI). Wish we could go back to the Majorie days.

Opinions on the new CEO?

Any insight or observations on the new CEO? How he will impact the company? He's made 2 posts about his first & second weeks, what do you think?

Back to office

So Boundless is making us go into an office now. No more working from home. This was a rough week driving into Chandler from BFE. I left early bc rff it. It’s Friday and I’m not spending 1.5 hours in traffic every Friday afternoon. Get used to it, bc... — read more

Credly

I was laid off from Pearson in 2022 after 14 years. HR told me it was a cost cutting measure. I got 42 weeks of severance but quickly found a new job at a better company for more money. The other day, I was doing something at work and happened... — read more

Boundless

How do we get info on what BL has been up to? I know they are not a part of Pearson anymore but I don't see they have a page on here that exists and I don't think just anyone can create one.

Severance for employees who are laid off

I decided not to wait for them to tell me that I am no longer needed and I left this place. I am pretty sure that I made a good decision. I'm interested in how generous was the severance pay for those who were laid off?

How was it?

Full of Lies

Regent flat out lied to Zulily staff. Told them they had 60 days but then chopped them days before Christmas. They will do the same thing to us. I wonder if they are paying any of our contractors or if our software will just one day not work... — read more

Commercial Product Manager job

Hello, all. I’m looking for intel on PM jobs at Pearson. How stable is that role or part of the company? Or should I run the other way? With all the layoffs across EdTech, I want to make sure I don’t apply and end up cut in a few months. — read more

Boundless number of failures!

Not Boundless Reasons, Just One On Back To Office

They want employees to quit. There’s no sense in instituting a back to office policy and then make it as difficult as you can by setting the travel distance to 2 hours each way if the reason is for what the ELT has claimed. In Orlando, that’s as... — read more
