I started looking for another job a while ago. I don’t see a future for myself here. What I see is a shrinking business with clueless leadership, making cut after cut until there's nothing left. If I find something better, I’ll leave. If not, I’ll... — read more
So much for job security
We went from having layoffs occasionally to almost every other month in the blink of an eye. I’m not usually an alarmist, but I think this is a clear sign of what’s coming, and none of it looks good. It’s hard not to feel like we’re just waiting our... — read more
This is not what "toxic workplace" mean
Let’s be real, since when did "hey, can you fix this report?" become "verbal abuse"? At Ricoh (and let’s be honest, everywhere else), managers are now expected to hand-hold through basic tasks like it’s kindergarten. If you try to actually hold... — read more
Junk
they’re still out there selling the same junkie equipment with inherent problems year in and year out no wonder their decline is so sudden . We had so many problems at our company with their equipment. We had to kick them out and get another... — read more

What happened with Evolv?
Does anyone know why we aren't servicing them anymore?
New round of layoffs
Has anybody heard which groups are going be laid off this round? I've heard they're going to start thinning the herd this week so they can start the new fiscal year leaner.
Age discrimination lawsuit
From what I've been seeing and reading here, it seems that the latest Ricoh layoffs have disproportionately affected older employees. Can this be proven in court? Age discrimination is illegal and if there is even a small chance to hold this company... — read more
Fulfillment Gap? Wuh-Wuhhh?
Totally laughable. Ricoh preaching to other companies about how to HR is amazing! This was gleaned via worst practices? Thanks Ricoh but think I’ll stick with findings in Dollar General’s HR... — read more
Status of business
What’s going on in this company? It seems like they have dramatically. Scaled back direct operations for service. From what I hear the prices still remain some of the highest but failed to have enough people to fix products. Are there any big changes... — read more
Technology acceleration will bring more layoffs.
Layoffs should be thought of as "when" not "if". AI, robotics, will continue to improve and jobs will be lost. This is not a Ricoh thing, it will happen almost everywhere. There will be periods where layoffs happen, followed by assessment periods... — read more
More layoffs are coming
Be prepared for more layoffs this month (any day now actually) as Ricoh will restructure once again for Jan. 1st 2025
Northeast
I work in the northeast as an ACE and see how slow and unproductive sites are becoming. Most sites it’s a lot of sitting around doing nothing. This is the onsite staff as well. No wonder layoffs are occurring.
Why is everyone leaving Ricoh?
Lately, it feels like people are walking out every week, and the way it's been going, I'm worried it'll soon turn into a daily thing. Ricoh isn’t the worst place to work, so what’s really going on here? Am I missing something? Is anyone else happy... — read more
No print? No problem!
Ricoh not really selling printers anymore = low carbon foot print… Score! https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/ricoh-named-asia-pacific-climate-040000918.html
The writing on the wall
Ricoh is shrinking. I’m sure some areas of the country are doing better than others, but it appears to me that the company is turning away from it’s traditional business of selling AND servicing it’s own equipment. It is allowing dealers to take over... — read more
End of 1H-2024 layoffs?
With the end of 1H-2024 here, I am wondering if anyone is aware of further layoffs at Ricoh? I saw a couple of poor souls mention on Linkedin that their roles were eliminated today. As we saw, Ricoh is targeting 2,000 layoffs by the end 2024.
So much for mission statements and ethics
I was a Ricoh field service technician until just a couple months ago. I worked for them for 6 years. Some of the products are good especially the black and white copiers as they are more reliable and not so complicated to work on because they are a... — read more

Brain drain is real
Why is nobody trying to prevent this? We are losing our best people.
March 31st
What is on the horizon for layoffs and changes happbefore March 31st. I only ask because whenever things get really quite in this company internally it always leads to less people working here.

Outsourcing Ricoh Direct Service?
Heard that Ricoh has outsourced their Service Techs to a 3rd party in many parts of the US. Most were given a choice of joining the 3rd party or leaving the company. I hope they got a nice severance package if they decided on the latter.
