Whoever said it first in another thread on this forum was very much right. Autokiniton Global Group is buying Tower - which means that we are in for a bumpy ride from here on in.
We can expect major layoffs as is the case with any acquisition - and I'm willing to bet most of them will be on our side.

Been a bad month to be an employee here. Cuts being made, company being sold. More cuts on the horizon. Not a fun place to have to walk into because you never know when it will be your turn to be walked out. Hearing another big wave of layoffs coming soon. Jim G said this was going to be good for the employees but that does not look like the case. Everyone is walking on egg shells and the only ones who will seem to benefit are the ones with nice buyout packages and large amounts of stock.
Well the layoff have begun. There was suppose to be a 35 day buying period, but they are not waiting. They laid off some prior to announcement and have started laying off now after the announcement. More are sure to come. Good luck to all.
