Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

Call to action

It’s been months now and I’m not seeing that any kind of action has been taken to hold these crooks responsible. The Receiver is getting his pay day but thousands of faculty and employees are still owed money. Not to mention the unpaid medical bills that are now showing up on our doors and the premiums that were taken from our pay checks. Is there anything we can do if we band together? Surely I’m not the only one who feels this way.

'Who are you? Where can we find your credentials? You’re obviously on the spectrum but I’m curious as to what else you are going on' (Said Einstein)

Another Fradaversity graduate/fraudster/operative speaks:
[...'what else you are going on...' ]
You and your handlers might consider your retaking that basic grammar certificate course at The South Unifraudaversity. That is unless the Fraudaversity (3%ers) have already tapped out your loan worthiness or you had a stroke or were a social promotion. (next time study harder)

*Students Stay Clear of South Unifraudaversity and don't give these nasty people your loan money—EVER!!!

"We have had significant growth at South." @109pC4Jy-2tsk

And with collegescorecard.gov statistics to the contrary this statement most likely attributable to an inoperable brain tumor.

*Students do your due diligence, do not sign a thing, and by all means beware of South Unifraudaversity!

'...model the pro-forma behavior of the id–t and chief and nonchalantly declare bankruptcy x 6.' [Bigly]

"What I've done is I've used, brilliantly, the laws of the country. And not personally, just corporate. And if you look at people like myself that are at the highest levels of business, they use – many of them have done it, many times,"

Looks like it's alright for the "man" but not alright for the former employee on death's door who paid premiums, thought he was insured and dealing with an honest Christian organization and DID NOTHING WRONG!
But let's not delay, deny and deflect from the real issue of the, all heart, rat fraudsters claiming entitlement to taxpayer money for nothing (the 3% graduation rate) at The South Unifradaversity.
Students Beware! Do not sign on the line!!!

Is it just me or do I sense more than a little bit of the know-it-all douche in the tone of your texts. People deserve answers. They held up their end. They did nothing wrong. The money was stolen—PERIOD!
The courts, as they exist, infrequently provide justice to the aggrieved but often function to enrich the 'Officers' of the court, the ballsy 'Receivers' of the world and the Crazy Glued feet of the Slug-Like failed lawyers, also known as Judges.
What I suggest the former employee who thought he had medical insurance prior to his kidney transplant do, is to model the pro-forma behavior of the id–t and chief and nonchalantly declare bankruptcy x 6 (big time). With primary medical expense bankruptcy necessarily being all the the rage in this country, I wouldn't characterize your call to action 'complaining' or' whining.' That designation has been solidly copyrighted and branded by the Baby Huey, Subcontractor Stiffing, Orange Tinted, A—Ducked-Pompadoured, Prevaricator, 'dear leader' wannabe.
All the best to those employees who have played by the rules and trusted. Be cautious though, as one debilitating scam perpetrated on you makes you vulnerable to another and the predators are always looking to add insult to injury.

@109pC4Jy-4sxq

Start calling lawyers. Find one with no fees until there is a settlement.
Every class action starts with one person taking action. The lawyer will handle the rest.

Start with the fact that you went to the doctor because you thought you had insurance. You thought you had insurance because premiums were deducted from your pay. After the fact you learned that even though you were paying premiums, you received no insurance benefits. You and your family were harmed by these actions, and will continue to be harmed by these actions in the form of penalties and interest. All because you were led to believe you had insurance.

That is absolutely illegal. The lawsuit should snowball from there.

I was an adjunct. So I was not harmed by the insurance issue.

So, where do we start? If we’d like to take legal action? I am primarily talking about employees. Not that I’ve forgotten about the students in the least. It’s not a competition for who got screwed over the most, plenty of that to go around. But I would think that a group of us would be better than going solo. I’m tired of just complaining, I’d like to put my anger to use if possible.

"DO NOT get entangled with the college meltdown/ college scorecard types these are sounding boards with no actual clout who will exploit you to push a blog post, they are no better than this education group."
The above is some board room buffoon's self-serving example (with all due respect) of a logical fallacy. Does anyone really believe that there is little or no difference between the sociopathic wack a mole iterations of the exploitative rob and shutter loan mill no one graduates shape shifting fraudulent vulture capitalist run from Wall Street fraud factories of South Fraudaversity and the Fraudaversity of Phoenix and a few posters who like Diogenes of old attempt to shed light on those who are not honest men?
It's simple as that. No lobbying, no political aspirations and no action plan. I'll leave that up to the Fradaversities throughout the land that have lifted millions of taxpayer dollars to that end while surgically stealing stipend money, earned income, and medical insurance premiums from the students and wage slaves of America.

I have thousands of bills coming in as well. Doctors and hospitals are saying as the patient I am responsible, as BAS told them DCEH is in bankruptcy and will not be paying claims. No claims being paid for the entirety of 2019! Ridiculous. Nothing for all those payroll deductions for medical premiums.

Can't believe the government will allow all this. Why isn't this in the news what's happening?!

Post ID: @3qkm+109pC4Jy

I have a $200,000 unpaid medical bill, kidney transplant from last December that was unpaid. Cobra refuses to pay because DCEH has insuff funds, yet I paid my premiums through April. Lets form a parade. I want to sue someone.

This is on point. There are guys in this forum pseudo- exposing and pontificating but the real action is happening in the courts and political spectrum. It’s abundantly complex and takes a lot of time, there is little any boots on the ground folks can do at this juncture which has been a prevailing point here for weeks. They will call me a shill, ask who is signing my paycheck etc. but the truth is I don’t work for this organization and am generally interested in just telling them to do something more productive with their efforts than whine. Don’t worship a blog poster with 90 twitter followers aka no audience

The 'student money' is gone. It will never be 'returned', the Ed. Department knows that, and forgave the semester loans for all of the students that were affected. So students do not owe what they did not receive.
However everyone else suffers, the tax payers who paid into that fund in the first place, and continue to pay into it. That will never be resolved in the way you would like.

Looks like another case of being way behind where the court has gone. You're citing news from January up to March. Ya gotta know that when those sources use the terms alleged, and yet it appears. 4 months later there is a long ways to go. The newest court documents presented in these posts Case: 1:19-cv-00145-DAP Doc #: 349 Filed: 05/30/19 1 of 8. PageID #: 10253, is from nearly 2 months ago. If you are in a hurry, forget it. Anxious? leave it alone. Try to make use better use of your time. Next time to check the court progress will be sept. 1st. And then, no big deal.

I also feel the same as you. We can't really do anything until there is a bankruptcy case. However the receiver was granted his extension for a few main reasons including: 1. The continuing education and sale of Ai Las Vegas. 2. The continuing education and sale of Western State College of Law. 3. Pay employees.

You say want crooks? Here they are:

January 24, 2019
Private investment firm behind acquisition of Art Institutes and South University campuses https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2019/01/24/private-investment-firm-behind-acquisition-art-institutes-and-south-university
'Education Principle Foundation, a Delaware nonprofit with no annual budget and almost no internet presence, announced Friday it had acquired some of the campuses from the Dream Center. Yet it appears that a group of private investors are behind the deal to acquire the Art Institutes and South University campuses...
...The firm invests in Studio School Los Angeles...
Studio Enterprise Manager provides services such as enrollment management and marketing to Studio School, according to court documents.'

March 8,2019
Receiver says Dream Center is 'insolvent,' plans to sell or close campuses | Education Dive https://www.educationdive.com/news/students-ask-for-new-oversight-amid-claims-argosy-altered-title-iv-payments/549803/
'Dottore alleged in court papers this week that Argosy and DCEH altered requests for Title IV payments from the department to inaccurately show the stipends had been paid when they weren't.'

March 24, 2019
https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2019/03/04/argosy-students-lose-out-millions-dollars-federal-aid-goes-missing
'Argosy University has failed to distribute nearly $16.3 million in federal aid to thousands of its students.
'Dottore asked a federal court last month to force Studio Enterprise Manager=[EPF] a for-profit education management services company, to return about $6 million Dream Center paid the company to provide nonacademic services, such as enrollment management and marketing, to the eight Art Institutes and South University campuses.'

Wonder why Studio School Studio Manager EPF, and Cobert keep popping up over and over again like mantra of super max embezzlement...Oh, forgot South Fradaversity, too?
So whether it's 16.3 million or 13 million or 6 million, It's all been stolen and being such "Chump Change," nobody cares.

Students of South Fraudaversity these are the people that OWN you. White collar crime at its best!
