Thread regarding CSX Corp. layoffs

More chopping at CSX

Reports from very reliable sources that the ax is again going to fall in
Willard, Ohio by CSX, ironically named for the once long-time president of the
Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, Daniel Willard. I wonder what he would think.
Rumors are yet another 40 to 45 heads will roll. This once proud railroad center
for around a century and a half will have almost no CSX employment anymore. No longer
will families work for the railroad for 2 or 3 generations. It's over.

Csx is now the most hostile employer I've ever worked for. Retaliation against it's employees from management seems to be at the forefront of any disagreement. At least in desert Storm I knew who my enemy was and who had my back!

csx treats its employees like sc-ap metal no loyalty anymore, moral is gone, worked almost twenty years had my entire craft laid off to have other crafts now doing are work and this happened in a union shop, the only thing that matters to csx is operational ratio and stock value, safety, customers and employees mean nothing to this hedge fund.
