Kaiser has been having layoffs constantly for months now - they are just small enough to not draw any attention. Somebody mentioned this in another thread, and it now makes perfect sense. We keep hearing about layoffs taking place within the company all the time, yet there is no coverage outside.
This is also really bad for all of us. When there is a single layoff round with all the affected people, at least when it's done, we know it's done. Like this, we have to work with a constant threat of layoffs hanging over our heads. How is that good for our productivity or office morale?
