I would like to see Seaton, the board, Brittain, the mid level VPs and the rest of the merry gang be held accountable for what the did to the company. Everyone at the project level could have laid out what was happening to the company but mid level VPs were too busy managing up instead of paying attention to the burning of Rome. I bet Carlos and AB had know idea the flaming bag of poo they were handed.

Seatons new job as director on the board at ConocoPhillips says fluor employees can go s— it. Welcome to America screw people over and reap the rewards.
Its sad to see a company like Fluor to go down so fast, cutting incentives to employees such as awards, towp, forced vacation is the worst I’ve seen. It seems that things are not getting better but worse. Im sure clients will go somewhere else. First was cutting engineering now comes management ....
I looked at the company's website today and it appears many inept folks remain but a few were tossed out over lat last few years. Seaton was not a leader and it's no surprise this company is considered the Sears of construction companies these days.
Step 1. Be executive with MBA
Step 2. Show company cost savings by outsourcing to manila, india, mexico or any other 3rd world country
Step 3. Get promoted to higher position for saving company millions of dollars
Step 4. Let long time employees and new hires suffer while outsourced jobs slowly destroy all that was built
Step 5: Resign with a golden parachute. You make millions as the progenitor of the company's ultimate ruin... but that's not your problem now.
Step 6: long time employees and new hires quit or laid off/forced out go to new company and start back at Step 1
Carlos and AB are still part of the merry gang nothing will change, Carlos was simply brought on for damage control with the govt fraud in Afghanistan and lawsuits from cost overrun and delayed projects. Should get real interesting at the end of september. fluor sugarland building has floors with no one working in them complete ghost town
