These stores do $3-$4 million a year now, not $8-$12m. This is all the payroll we get. The company has no niche in the market. You can buy ink and paper at Target for cheaper. Long term it will go away. It isn't dead yet, but sinking fast. The store you speak about may just be reacting to the lower customer flow, less sales by carrying less aging junk. The more cell phone cases you put on display, the more get stolen in a city like that. When the lease is up, they will close.

The Office Depot in Michigan City is the only store of this type within 30 miles and it is always empty and they rarely have more than 2 or 3 people working there morning, noon, or night. The worker turnover is also a lot because I don't recognize anyone and I get printing done several times a month.
