From a customer perspective NetApp is like Sun Microsystems. Your HCI offering is like Solaris X86. Impossibly complicated to install and unable to compete with newer commodity products. Think Linux versus Solaris X86. FAS and ONTAP are like SPARC and Solaris. Over priced and proprietary. Management turnover mirrors McNealy and the other SUN founders departures. History repeats, both the products and employees that are left will end in the basement of some other company like the SUN employees and technology at Oracle.

The objective is to get messaging out to prospective employees who think NetApp is the place to work. It’s not. It’s horrible and will continue to fail. Good luck dreamers.
Doubt it very much. There is an obvious agenda on this forum. Trash NetApp at every turn.
Keep drinking the punch. NetApp has been cooking the books for years. I have factual data and I have turned it over to attorneys. NetApp will crumble.
I worked for Sun before the collapse. Sun was leasing a ton of equipment to the 'dot coms' some legit but most not so much. They were reporting those transactions as sales to fluff up their books. The stock went to 129...then the c-ap hit the fan. NetApp is not even close in this aspect. You may want to believe that but they're not.
No it's a commentary on a sh– company swirling down the drain.
Is this a sh—posting forum, officially?
Couldn’t agree more and the lawsuits continue to pile on. NetApp is a sinking ship.
