I'm genuinely curious...

20 years for me. Currently I lay-off people at management requests. Someday it will be me but, for now I have a job to perform.
I’m happy same job for 15 years good boss
if you are going to claim the company is hiring people to write positive blogs, how about you start posting links to these blogs?
They don't have to hire anyone to write positive comments or blogs about the company. Directors and VPs are doing it. HR has asked them to do it.
I am. Been with the company for almost 10 years and quite frankly, I have seen worse at other companies. What is happening here at Intrado is not unique nor unusual. Companies have not been loyal to employees in a couple of decades (since they first started doing away with pensions). I didn't expect loyalty from my previous place of employment nor do I expect it from Intrado. I feel that I can get cut at anytime. I don't sit around worrying about it. I come in and do my job to the best of my ability because after all, they are still paying me to do a job!
Rumor is they have hired contractors that write on blogs about how awesome it is at West
If you work at West the sole purpose of your employment is to make Shady Shlonsky and the Apollo Lynch Mob more money. How much more doesn't matter because it will never be enough. The same could be said of plenty of other companies. There is employment to be had out there where you could go to work for more noble reasons and be happier, but those jobs usually pay less. Therein lies the problem for many unhappy West workers.
An old coworker texted me he was glad he was finally fired. Now he can get unemployment and look for a new job.,
I don't really expect happiness from this or any job. It's tolerable which is enough for me. Ultimately I work to pay my bills and provide value to people richer than me. If that makes you happy, great. But I wouldn't expect any loyality from American companies. Work to live, life is too short to do the opposite.
Agreed...I work with a lot of angry people. Only happy ones have left...
Not aware of any happiness ... except for the execs and HR/ER that write into Glassdoor saying how great it is ... literally ROFLMAO.
