Each month I feel like a good chunk of us get by only because we are essential to getting things out in a timely matter, but now with process documentation becoming more frequent, I believe it is only a matter of time before my team and I are let go. If so, does anyone know if hourly employees get a severance? Or is that only guaranteed for salary employees? If we aren't, then I'm going to go ahead and start accepting interview requests so I can go ahead and get my foot in the door somewhere else.

You don’t get severance. Read the handbook
you will get 2 weeks paid during which you are expected to be available to answer questions from remaining team mates even though you will have lost access to all systems. if you have the health insurance you will have 30 days after that 2 weeks where it is still valid.
Nobody is guaranteed a severance
Oops, meant manner, not matter
