Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Texas Eastern pipeline Just blew up in Kentucky one k--led

Safety used to be a big thing at Spectra, but the dividend comes first. Did Enbridge outsource the pipeline Integrity program or just do some cost savings by putting off inspections??? Let’s just give out stock options to the dead’s family and those injured. So glad I don’t work for this company anymore!!!!!

Lines don’t go from running perfectly to rupturing from corrosion in a couple of years. Enbridge bought a really c-appy dog of a company in Spectra. Every rock we turn over shows us a new chunk of the company barely held together with bailing twine and hope. We should never have touched it. It’s awful.

As our pipelines blow up, what seems like every other month, management lets talent out the door and buys ping-pong tables...some incentive to show up for a productive day at work

Can you imagine doing a site walk in a station that hasnt been running in 20 years without safety glasses on? You'd get crucified...yet that's what Enbridge does to make their point on Safety being a primary concern. Every meeting starts with some crazy safety discussion that takes the life out of you, yet no one really cares about it...insane

This year's mockery of Stand up for Safety shows how seriously the company takes safety.

A TIP on the last post. To make your post sound actually sincere, check your spelling. I assume you meant TOP Priority. Hopefully our safety program is better than our proofreading skills.

PS - I just got 69 as my verification number maybe it is a sign on how we do business

We are deeply saddened by the fatality in Kentucky. We are aware of the incident and safety continues to be our tip priority.

Al is apologetic all over the place, reality is that he couldn't care less. He is the commander in chief but chose money over safety, profits over keeping good people around, to run the company in Compliance with Regulatory Standards. He is also screwing it up for all other Companies out there making everyone look bad because him and his team is full of incompetent and arogant leaders. "WE" = Incompetence

One of the reports earlier today

"The Kentucky explosion is the fourth rupture on an Enbridge natural gas pipeline in less than a year."

Ya think? Maybe it's just me but shouldn't we start having a meeting of the minds on this matter...looks like several more are lurking out there before 2019 is over with

Thoughts go out to the affected families. Unfortunately this will continue as long as leadership continues to run this company into the ground. Contempt for employees is evident everyday and quality people are leaving, ”engagement” is in the toilet and the slow drip of results doesn’t mask that they are doing a terrible job running the company. Hopefully AM gets hauled before Congress to explain why this keeps happening.

It's becoming pretty embarrassing to work for this company. If anyone actually has information about unsafe practices, you need to bring that forward. We have to stop k–ling people.

Yes Spectra Energy had a very good maintenance program and safety record. In walks Enbridge and things change. Everything from safety to work environment go downhill. So glad I no longer work in there in that toxic culture and work environment.
