They spread the layoffs out to avoid any kind of media attention. Good luck with the new CEO. Hopefully he can correct things, but I highly doubt anything will change. When it comes time to reduce headcount, performance doesn’t matter to HR and that doesn’t help morale.
The company seems to have given up on selling new plants, so best get out of those orgs while you can or you’ll be competing against your peers for that next job.
