The hard facts are since the retirement of Marsh Carter, this company has been going down hill. Each CEO is more of a hatchet man than the next. Marsh Carter days were when employees here were valued, treated with respect, and seen as assets to the company. None of that exists any longer, and this new guy makes Hooley seem like a cupcake. He is boasting in the Herald about letting go another 800 of us and seems excited about his. They aren’t even trying to sugar coat things any longer. The writing is on the wall and has been for at least a decade now. My job is going by October to India and the severance and exit will be welcomed at this point. This place will k–l your self esteem and worth. There is life after State Street and other places that will still at least treat you as a human who matters. Best To all who work here and are facing the facts and need to move on. We will fare better in the end!

We go live production this week in August, meaning for 3 months they do our work and we have to grade it. The goal is for them to completely take over all functions in October and hence the pink slips thereafter!
@10mrvq5w How do you know that your position will be eliminated by October? I am a former employee who still posts on this website since I have a large network of former and current State Street employees. Depending on your age of course many former employee's of State Street have no choice but to move on.
