Thread regarding Fluor Corp. layoffs

The best days of Fluor are behind them.

They peaked in 2007 and whatever the management team has done since then has been just garbage. Using “engineering” offices in India and performing poorly with major clients have been disastrous for this company. A real shame - bad execs/managers did profit personally but they ran down one of the top names in engineering.

I guess all the “diversity” wasn’t such a huge asset. How stupid.

Fluor is in a free fall not because of engineering in India. The last nail in the coffin was by penguins. By Bad executive management and gone too far with gate checks while after selecting projects but no approval process required when the Joe’s project directors spending cash flows (in the name of cost savings). Overhead cost is so high(really do you need those project controls, PSS!!!)

That's everywhere though. Every company slaughtered themselves off over the last decade using India. Look at Boeing, can't even build a plane anymore.
