This is a f—ing slap in the face. The topic is Resiliency? To learn more about adapting positive to change, bouncing back after a setback, having a 'never give up mindset'??? F— you Intrado. This is a huge slap in the face. We haven't heard sh– about raises and now you want us to join a seminar on how to 'overcome setbacks'? F— you John and all the other higher ups. Why are we not banding together against this? Straight up ignorance is bliss for everyone who makes more than 60k.

I personally found the leadership series to be valuable. Resiliency is not just for work - it pertains to your personal life too. If you are that miserable at this company and despise leadership that much you should go find a new job. People like you are the problem with this place.
I don't know why anyone is surprised. I saw the writing on the wall months before the sale. I did research on Apollo and found out that they are Vulture capitalists. They buy up struggling companies and pick the bones clean, just like a vulture.
The old West management pretty much spelled out what they were doing as well, at least at the Omaha location. They made everyone join that book club, and one of the books (The Advantage by Patrick Lencioni) described the CEO implementing a bunch of employee engagement things so that they could improve employee moral and productivity to make the company more attractive to sellers, and then as soon as the company was sold, everything went to hell for the employees. (at least that's what I got out of the book, people could have interpreted it differently).
I take it as never give up in life in general. And that Intrado isn't the last stop. I can't even be mad anymore. They've shown us who they are in every action and inaction. And it's up to us to either decide to stay and be their victim/let them run us crazy or leave and move successfully in life to a place that will actually value us.
