Thread regarding Devon Energy Corp. layoffs

AP’s Downfall

Now that all of AP’s supply chain contacts are laid off, more problems will plague the group. PO integration will get worse, more invoicing issues, etc. Several people in the group are close to leaving Devon. No one likes the current invoicing system. Bots are still nowhere close to where they need to be. Demoted the good supervisor during all of this change. You don’t demote supervisors during a massive transition like this! Current supervisor and manager are clueless. Invoice count is dropping due to divests. Goodbye AP.

AP is pushing automation so hard and the funniest thing is that they tell all of us we’re safe. Open your eyes. We are not id–ts. You’re pushing automation to reduce AP workforce. Let’s not forget when JH suggested we outsource AP. Stop lying to our face.

Everybody MD laid off in supply chain was in fact over forty. Get your retinol oil if you want to keep your job under the ageist.

You mean SAP didn’t cure all Devon’s problems? Amazing.

Not surprising. They were told by staff bots will never work, they created more work and less efficiency. Remaining staff are all buttlickers! Managers and Leads are useless, let’s just kiss azz so we can keep our positions

Let me guess....the demoted supervisor is just taking it, because they are afraid to quit and lose out on a separation package?
Let me make another wild guess...the demoted supervisor is over 40 and has a lot of time served at Devon?
