Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

Goodbye “Consumer”

Next announcement will be “Consumer” sold, parted out or somehow spun off now that union strike is off the table and labor cost can now be calculated.

End your nightmare and get out of telecom. It is the same chaos and stories over and over again. Don't you think you deserve peace of mind? It will never get better and the end of this era of telecom is now owed by the deep state and there will be no good coming out of this.

“Get you facts straight successorship clause is in the contract, who ever put out this rumor is not true”

Please send me a picture of that in the contract. I know someone on the committee and they told me that the copany wouldn’t even discuss it. I’d love for you to prove me wrong.

CWA has done it again, smile to your face and stab you in the back. I'm sure the union officers got a sweet deal to throw you all under the bus.

"Consumer does not count for them selling it. It has to be the majority of Qwest. It will not be and the successorship will be void. "

So they are selling the Fiber Network ?

Qwest had the long haul Fiber US West had the infrastructure and distribution Nodes as in C.O.'s and CEV's Hub's Etc and a existing customer base as well as the Markets.

The Copper and Fiber are integrated on a level that is almost symbiose, why it will very difficult to separate the physical aspect.

There is no part of the actual company called Consumer, except marketing and the business office. It's not even a standalone business. It requires the same network CTL uses for SMB and enterprise customers.

Stopping sipping what Storey is trying to serve to analysts and activist shareholders to distract them from his failed results.

"And with no successorship clause who ever buys consumer has no obligation to honor the contract. And we can’t complain or say a word. We did it to ourselves. There is no incentive for the company to try to break the union when the union is negotiating itself right of business itself. "

If it's AT&T that might not be such a bad thing.
