Thread regarding Siemens layoffs

Ignore the rumors!

We had a townhall at Princeton. We were informed that everything will be fine. Charlotte and Berkeley need to worry though. But Princeton will be around for a while. They are hiring 200 more people next year.

OMFG not this again!

Listen carefully children I’m only gonna say this once

We are led by great men, not cowards who lay off their most precious resources (researchers) at the first sign of trouble.

Hang in there, anxious grasshoppers. Our ship is captained by men of higher birth and intellect than you. You will be fine under their care. Serve them well. That is all you can do.

CT at Princeton is going to be right sized in December/January. DI business has dried up so half the workforce are currently not generating profit. Sad! LD saw the writing on the wall and bailed. You should too!

don't be naive . that's what they told us in Trenton and now our plant has completly closed. Siemens will close all offices in NJ because taxes are too high and they are not getting any kickbacks any longer .

If smart - look for a better job they are out there right now but not for long .

I was there. I did not hear this plan to hire 200 people so I think maybe you were not actually there.
