Thread regarding Scientific Games Corp. layoffs

Another set of glowing 5 star ratings

Seems like the same person is pushing those 5-star ratings with the same sort of language.
"Nothing to report at this time", "Nothing I could see in this month as a con"

Read the most upvoted answer that comes from India, you will know why they get random 5 star reviews.

Majority of Five star reviews coming from India. SG is paying $2 per employee for 5 star review in India. Another layoff coming soon before year ends and word vision will be thrown again!

Don’t feed trolls, just ignore them until they get nuked by site admins.

ha ha. It's probably the same person who posts these wonderful 5-star ratings of "dont have any negatives to say at this time". This company and these upper echelons stouges, don't know what he/she gets by posting these fake positive ratings with the same sort of language. if you are so enamoured by this company then write it on Linkedin, market it and see if people respond to it. or else keep writing the same "Have nothing negative to write" on your posts. or else learn a new way to write positive things.

You're not going to get change. I documented problems at SG for years and regularly brought them to upper management and HR. Nobody cares because they are in the same boat you are.

I was lucky. HR bought me off and I took a "mutual separation package" for a sh–load of money rather than confront the director and VP causing the problems. Oddly enough, those two dipshits were fired a year later.

The answer is to leave that garbage heap.

Plus there’s some who were at one of the companies that these people acquired, then ruined the culture, morale and everything else about what we loved. There’s a lifetime of animosity because the commoners didn’t benefit from the sale and just became subjects of SG and their incompetence. To see this place fail completely is the only result that will suffice for ALL the damage they did to thousands of people.

Here's what always irks me: there's always some toady - aka, brown noser that just has to squash the thread making a comment about 'quit if you don't like it. ' WTF is that? Seriously, this board is about expression of concerns in regard to company fitness which can lead to layoffs, and rumors of layoffs. May I suggest- if your feelings can't handle people expressing their disgust and disdain for this corporation, perhaps you need to return to your company cheerleading team wherein you will find glee with your fellow rump smackers and leave the rest of us normal workers alone.

Yes... because the people on here are very transparent (including myself) lol... What an Einstein... just my one penny.

Its not just about quitting. Its about being transparent and not post the same 5 star ratings from possibly the same person. People who are genuine i guess have posted detailed experience. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah agreed. I've noticed a pattern with it. Every time their average rating on glassdoor lowers down to around 50%, there's a deluge of 5 star reviews :-) Seems like management are desperate to keep their average score above 50%. Yeah, good luck with that ;-)
