Yes, company can sort of change rates, but it affects all employees now, not just the 8,000 and shrinking L-Qwest portion. The premiums aren't true insurance premiums either. It's the total cost of medical care that WE collectively incur each year with a small administrative on top. "

There is never a small administrative charge, it's where companies all over stiff the people that have a policy or billing with any company. Administrative charges are those non itemized mystery fees that seeming add up but have no reference or details.

Unless your an union official, union officer with 8 years still in same job title as i was while myself with 20 years was surplussed. Yea THANKS CWA for looking out for yourselves.

New contract dopes not mean no surpluses, it just means that the company now controls what your going to pay for healthcare and due to the rate increase will once again cry poverty due to the Unions and start the process again along with the hidden agenda they have. 9 months before you see a salary bump and a move of the contract to April.
