Triggering event

Has Anyone had a triggering event based on a move from the woodlands to greenway been told to stay after filing COC benefits. I don’t think that they can make you stay since you are effectively submitting your resignation. I would think you should be able to make your last day like in any resignation.

Can anyone recommend a CoC lawyer? Or are you filing without a lawyer’s advice?

How can OXY say no if you meet the requirements for COC?

The policy is that they will need to provide you with an answer (yes or no) within specific timeframe 90 days. One can walk out on the 90th day . If they reject the COC request then file an appeal and if that goes down then it is court time.
My understanding is that filing COC effectively you could walk out on your own that day. If prefer to stay and wait for the response that will be a max of 90 days.If response is no then effectively you are escorted out.

They could make you stay for a year if they want or deny it, but from what I can tell they will let you go. As long as you are doing the same thing in The Woodlands not much has changed in location. You might be ask to stay to a certain date.
