Autodesk is synonymous with layoffs. Every quarter there is a re-org aka layoff. Only the massive ones make the headlines, so in order to avoid headlines ADSK lays off folks quiets in spurts...day after day after day... It's insidious. And sneaky. Plus this helps to keep their stock price high...I wonder why analysts don't look into their unnaturally high stock price vs their actual business sales...lots of buying back their own stock, I guess. But for layoffs...yes...February is always stressful for ADSK employees.
Cronyism is rampant. Ageism is rampant. But hey, if you get laid off they will hire you back at a lower salary, no stock benefits, and unimpressive job title...with triple the work. LOL. Good riddance.
Ive been told here has been lots of little layoffs all over this year. Wait until the new financial year starts can see a widespread layoff coming, they are certainly due one.
I'm not sure about layoffs now that Carl is gone and the stock price is soaring. But you never know.
