Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

So which is next for elimination?

I hear dsd will be next because they have been training cap 1 and other dept managers to do it. But maybe claims since dept managers are doing their own claims?

The great workplace is rolled out in my store. Salaried managers are all still there, except front end are not considered assistant managers they are called coaches and they make more money, they don't have to work 50hrs but make more than salary workers.

CAP Teams, Department Managers, Customer Service Managers, Support Managers and Sales Associates/Cashiers.

Great Workplace will rollout in 2020.

Great Workplace is no rumor. It's on the wire.

Rumors can be pieces of a puzzle you can put together. There is writting on the wall you should pay attention to.

I agree with 5atn. Rumors have never done anything but stir up anxiety, and who needs more of that??

Let's stop with the rumors, and wait and see. Furthermore, we can't do anything about it if they do layoff. Why worry. Hope in GOD!

You may want to research Great Workplace. Most salaried and hourly managers are being eliminated. There will be some new positions, but there will not be enough slots for everyone to move to to stay in management.

I highly doubt its DSD. Cannot feep CAP1 staffed to do what they need to get done now. Giving it to DMs makes no sense as their focus will be teamwork activities per zone or area.
