MillerCoors in 2018; 350 layoffs, MolsonCoors in 2019; 500 layoffs....

I see a trend.

Time to layoff all the duplicate jobs and people over 50. You know it’s true. You can hire cheaper and younger.

Rumor has it, once the Denver office closes and all those Denver people are laid off, they’ll start cutting costs in Chicago so the company can be sold to a bigger parent company.

I wouldn’t be so thrilled to relocate to Chicago, they will be getting layoffs as well.

Think amazon for beer, soon there will one company that owns all beverages....and far less people will be needed.

But this is rampant across industries - all companies lay off.

Things go up and down, companies overhire.

I hope all goes well in 2020.

This will not be the last of the layoffs. Expect more in 2020... and again in 2021...

The company is sinking worse than Boeing, who also relocated to Chicago.
