Just read a blog for Tesla new SuperTruck? Should GM worry? I would think so. Although GM new Trucks (2018 - 2019) are amazing. The Dashboard will need a upgrade with Tesla's dash design. GM IT team should be happy to here this. But should employees worry? I think so. At a 500 mile range thats better than any electric vehicle on the road. And the interior is like being at a tech spa. I would say look out GM. Its time to worry.

Don't tell the higher ups that, as some of us actually want GM to take their medicine again. Only this time, to stay down.
They vision only works one way, and they lose sight 50% of the time. They never count on the double edged sword.
The reality is GM is incapable of competing in EVs, based on their current path. Their first real entry was the Bolt and if you look at sales it was a flop, particularly when compared to the Tesla 3, which by the way had a significantly higher MSRP. Also, those Tesla sales were made without selling through dealers. GM would require some radical changes, including a new CEO, for them to compete in EVs against Tesla or any other OEM.
Batteries are a big toxic mess of chemicals mined by children in esshole countries up to their knees and elbows in a toxic mess of chemicals.
But the oh so self righteous environmentalist nut job think they are better than the clean burning recyclable engines in your current pick em up truck.
So there ya go.
Haha...you think Tesla is going to actually manufacture that thing within the next 10 years? The unveiling is just another Elon smoke and mirrors show to generate more investor cash.
Majority of people that buy pickups will prefer gas. But yes GM market share will take a hit. Although that plays into the companies business plan of remaining profitable while it's market share declines. People on top will be ok. Worker bees will not.
