Sherwin-Williams Layoffs 2019 2020

After the Valspar merger, many Sherwin employees where "downsized" - this was a part of the merger agreement. Now they are talking about finding new headquarters. This would be a perfect opportunity for more layoffs.

Regarding the Sherwin-Williams Valspar acquisition, there were many individuals who part of a "force reduction," and it was not their choice. Your statement is incorrect. These layoffs were not disclosed within the company or in the news - this is why you did not know about this. It happened at the Cleveland headquarters.

No part of the previous statement is true. I’ve been through two acquisitions over a 15 years span. They continue to foster talent development and retention. The only people who left sherwin after a acquisition was their choice... also no discussions of moving the headquarters. Also bad intel. Great company and great people.
