RIFs are starting once again. So many people have had to say good bye in the last 6 months. Expect more. No bonuses either.

Very sorry, (but not surprised) to hear that many legacy Polycom folks have been released by the combined company. The true loss here is to what remains of the combined company and its short sighted business plan. In a highly competitive UC landscape with a host of new entrants constantly emerging with the same multivendor/vendor agnostic strategy, it doesn't fare well for what remains of Poly to compete head to head with displaced, legacy Polycom video folks who have decades of video experience and are positioned well in the marketplace to design and promote higher value solutions to the industry and further erode the Poly base of once loyal customers.
A great many older former Polycom staff still seem to be getting fired.
Difficult to see how they will function with so many key people getting fired.
