Rumours are swirling of a layoff this month (Possibly week of Nov. 11th). It's perplexing how the U.S. is experiencing record unemployment and the best economy EVER and yet this company appears to be heading towards another staff reduction...question isn't "if" it will happen but when and how deep. It's simply not sustainable for a company to continue to cut 10-15% of it's workforce each year.
Despite the yearly layoffs Syniverse continues to hire new VP's & executives at a record pace (Most being acquaintances of the CEO)...something smells about the whole situation, perhaps this company needs to be investigated. I'm quite shocked the Carlyle Group has not stepped up and dealt with this debacle.
