This discussion thread is intended to serve as a "red flag" center for any/all updates surrounding layoff activities. Let us try to keep each other informed and forewarned as much as possible.

If you are employed with Cengage and observe lay-off related activity, please let us know here by including:
Your location (Mason, Boston, Independence, Field, etc. etc.)
Your general area (product, marketing, exec/leadership, sales, support, etc. etc.)
The nature of your experience, what are you observing?
Meeting called for XXX time
Telephone call scheduled
Co workers called into a meeting
Announcements, emails, etc.
Please share the gist of what was covered or what you observed.
Group meeting, all being let go, terms & conditions, paperwork presented for signage, instructions, etc.,
Coworkers being ushered out of the building
Remote employee conference calls, details discussed, etc.
