Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Any idea what’s December going to be like?

Of course, I mean in terms of layoffs. Are they going to intensify layoffs so they can reach a certain headcount number by the end of the year or are they pretty much done with layoffs for 2019?

There was no red October.

I show up for the stupid, and then cash the overtime checks. 2 hours to close job??? No problem bean counters, that's $62 an hour to sit and wait.

It's going to be a bloodbath. Ole' Randy's getting his list of everyone who's been naughty and nice together. Merry Christmas from AT&T everyone!

All surplus thus far in '19 have been 60 days off payroll. So it will be Q1 before there is another surplus. A voluntary offer is a different story they have been off payroll the next month, so the rumor of Nov offer off payroll EOY is very likely true.
