CDK has outsourced most of CVR/AVRS engineering to India to cut cost. Moving support doesn’t make sense since they are customer facing. Maybe they are really looking to tank CVR/AVRS and sell it

CDK does zero business in India. This is all about cheap labor. It's not like we're trying to access a rich dealer market over there.
CVR/AVRS Technical Support Outsourcing - Senior management has given the green light to outsource support for CDK’s CVR and AVRS product.
50 CTA’s, leads, and management will be laid off by the end of the year from the Cincinnati office.
The reasoning is, they cannot get the quality they need from the current group. The plan is still being shaped that will either outsource it to India or Canada.
The vendor CDK is looking at has call centers in both places. The placement will be based on negotiations with the BPO vendor.
Another reason this is being outsourced is money. why pay someone 17.50 an hour to screw it up when you can pay a foreigner $2000 a year to do it?
And they’ll actually give a damn about their job. The current manager in that department is a nut job, who thinks that she will be with CDK forever.
Well, with how many customers the company is bleeding, nothing would surprise me. AVRS isn’t doing too well in the California market. The Account Executives for AVRS are hearing from customers daily that they refuse to call support for issues because they are inept in Cincinnati.
