Not sure what difference a new CEO would make. The path of Seagate is set, it will see its products slowly replaced by SSD, and the need for the executive team to "Right-Size" the company so they can continue to pay the dividend, the debt, and the executive bonuses. The bang point comes when further cuts in the company can no longer be performed to cover those costs. Way too late to bring in a CEO to change Seagate's direction and culture.
The company is in the sh–ter anyway ! Who cares !
Haha, you are smoking something if you think the BOD is going to jettison a CEO while a company is delivering a steady dividend and the company is profitable. Take a deep breath and remember that board and investors would need to sign off on any new CEO who comes in with grand plans that would need enormous funding. That ain't gonna happen Charlie.
Too little too late, so might as well just leech on. Join the party else move on elsewhere.
Someone big got ousted today.
Long overdue! Bring in someone with a vision instead of just prayer.
