I've heard (and read) rumors New Brunswick is about to be hit hard next week - Health Care Compliance primarily. Any chance somebody knows more about this?
And is it just me, or have layoffs become just another constant "benefit" of working for J&J? Seems like we are hearing about more cuts on a weekly bases these days.
I did hear at least one person from New Brunswick is being affected but hasn't been notified yet.
Conference call and announcement came out at 8AM. One VP retiring, but staying on for now as a consultant, others protected (no surprise there) although moving around a bit. Managers on calls all day advising teams whether they have their job. Some notifications are taking place tomorrow. Most people will keep their jobs, there will be some job openings, some positions are being eliminated. Im told many of the eliminations are personal although they'll say 'its just business'.
I heard cuts in HCC will be globally. Many from New Brunswick probably wont be affected, as usual.
