Anthem is at it again and gave at least 100 Associates their walking papers with Nov. 1 as their last day of employment. Just not sure if this round of layoff is isolated within IT only or spread out across different departments. All I know is that most if not all of the associates affected are being replaced by the good people from Legato. Way to go Anthem, this would really boost morale within the company !

If only they would make Manila as one of the Core IT locations, I wouldn’t mind relocating there myself.
Just an FYI, not everyone scoring as a « 2 » deserved that rating. Some very strong, stable performers who may have been targeted due to location, level or internal politics.
It was across the organization and even Staff VP and VPs were affected. Legato is a wholly owned subsidiary so it makes sense that they would move jobs there. Hopefully they cut the 1s and 2s and left high performers in tact.
Next they should offshore executive management or ship Gloria to Manila... anthem would generate significant savings to help with they’re 2020 budget plugs...
