Anyone on here from customer care and contact centres? All Enbridge cares about is money! Don’t care about customer satisfaction at all! I heard call centres are told to lie to customers and deceive them because Enbridge wants all customers paperless billing! So contact centres actually put them on without telling them and then if they call back they are transferred to paperless rep who argues and begs them to stay paperless! All for Enbridge and the greedy stockholders! Let’s get the word out on social media to tell everyone to call and get paper bills! All they want is to save money and don’t care how! They deceive customers! They trick them then months later customers are shut off because they have no clue why they’re not getting a bill! This is not good business! Uniongas would have never done this so what can we all do to stop it? File a complaint with ethics or get out on social media and tell customers to call to get paper bills! Screw Enbridge and their not caring about customers! Some of us don’t want to lie to customers but we’re being made to! Any ideas?

Very sad what’s become of Enbridge. Nobody cares anymore.
I did go on social media and twitter to all news sources and business bureau and OEB and none of them did a thing and contact centres keep lying to customers and keep putting them paperless per management without telling customer! They actually tell us to wait until customer hangs up then switch them! It’s all lies and no one care!
With all due respect, all utilities and home services billing want you to go paperless....to the point of lying o intimidating customers. Rogers Cable actually told one of my elderly neighbours they could not return to paper bills when his computer crashed and he decided he did not want to replace it. I wound up interceding on his behalf and still had to argue it out with them.
Enbridge is all about money, yes I agree. As a retiree, I don't miss going to meetings about "creating new revenue streams"...I did my job well and went home. Didn't care about padding the executive pockets of Enbridge...Pay me my salary for the work I do and obey my contract.
But truly, they are not much different than all the other money grubbing companies. The best customer protections are A) Education of what your rights are AS a customer and B) File complaints to the appropriate places IN WRITING...that includes the media and social media. One big thing Enbridge is afraid of is BAD PUBLICITY.
They don’t outsource to India with their current contact centre, it’s with Accenture in Canada.
No one knows for sure about outsourcing?
Contact Centres are going to be outsourced to India just like IT and soon to be HR along with anything else they can outsource to save a dime.....remember employees are their number one asset?? LOL
Did you know that Enbridge allows for more wall thickness to be worn away on their pipelines before they replace it than Union Gas ever allowed....wonder why they have some many leaks and explosions....but safety first remember?? LOL
All Enbridge cares about is the share holder.
