Just heard on a conference call of high level staff that Glen and investors are you g to make a bid on the t–d known as the Local division. Apparently this has been in the works for a while. Anyone have any details on this??

We are in this mess because executives did a lot of talking about becoming a fiber to the premise company for twenty years or more and never really did it. That seems like it may be changing now, with emphasis on the word "may."
They were never taken out of the directory. Also we are this mess partly because of Post and the other good ol’ boys. Nice guys but their decisions were not the best.
No, OP is not making this up and you took the post out of context. The conf call was a CTL management call discussing moving traffic from CTL fiber to L3 fiber. It came up in discussion over who was interested in buying what they don't want and it was brought up that Glen and a group of investors are looking at parts of the business. There is nothing illegal with talks about investors buying a business. If you can't talk about buying a business, How do you think businesses are bought? Get real.
Pretty sure if this is true, Glen and his cronies would be headed to jail for leaking insider info. No way they could talk about this on a conference call. OP made this up, spreading rumors.
A number of retired execs are still in the directory, particularly the ones who negotiated office space and services for life.
He’s back on the corporate directory too. Interesting.
Guess that would make sense since he is building an office in Farmerville.
Copper Jockey's are simply "Typewriter repairmen" been saying it for a few years and now its in fact here. same as Travel Agents, Book stores, and many others Milk men, good humor man,
Re: "Copper is like the Buggy Whip Maker 100 years ago! Change IS HERE!"
Local can provide fiber services also.
Copper is like the Buggy Whip Maker 100 years ago! Change IS HERE!
Will anybody be left?
When will id–ts realize it has nothing to do with the weak A$$ union so get over yourselves
Glen Post might be a slight improvement, but barely. He had the same plans as Jeff Storey, outsource as much as possible, break the unions. Don’t forget he turned a blind eye for years to the customer billing issues. THe only ones he would help are in Louisiana.
After years of Post's incompetence and inability to create a real profitable company, y'all want him back? Crazy. Post and his godfather Clarke Williams were skilled at created a financial house of cards built on buying another company before the dust settles on the last acquisition. Neither could run a run based on the actual business. Nice guys, but other than that, just like Storey.
Wow I hope so! The local side is an anchor. Finally we have a productive management.
Thank goodness. These id–ts are ruining this company.
Id come back and work for Glenn Post
