Even though I get these same feelings, when I think about it, I really can’t conclude why are we all so afraid of layoffs? Has anyone felt secure and safe at this company in a while? I certainly haven’t. I think that the reality is that we’re all just waiting in line for our turn to get laid off and replaced, and all of that while working for a lousy, disorganized company and getting a lousy pay. Think that we should think of layoffs as an event that should be a generator that makes us get out of our every-day routine and forces us to start looking for a different job.

We are all low paid consultants pretending to be full-time employees.
