Since we've been seeing "massive layoff" countdowns since January, I'll post the opposite until it happens — Help me move this thing along in this thread.

That same poster who “predicted” massive layoffs also “predicted” a global recession coming, so why are we even considering counting down from an obvious troll post which everyone ignored except the OP of this thread?
I am the OP and @11rRk8fX-1kyq That is exactly my point. One poster on another thread a few days ago said that there is an impending "MASSIVE" layoff coming and compared it to the 10% cut in 2008 but there is no evidence of that coming and they provide no rhyme or reason. We ALL know there have been layoffs and teams let go since Citrix changed to a subscription model, but there have also been new hires. I have been here for a while and I don't want to be let go but nothing lasts forever.
To the person from marketing laid off yesterday, sorry it happened to you and pray you got a good severance from HR.
Day 3 — No "MASSIVE" layoffs
@11rRk8fX-omw Is the number of employees meaningful? If you lay off 10 collaborative engineers with deep Citrix knowledge and 100 years of combined experience, and you hire 20 new college graduates with no Citrix knowledge at all, you will increase the total number of employees worldwide.
Day three, I was laid off in Fort Lauderdale. I was in the marketing department. I was told we are restructuring.
Day 2 - No massive layoffs
"we've been seeing "massive layoff" countdowns since January" ????
December 31, 2018, Citrix had approximately 8,200 employees
This year in October, the company has over 9000 employees worldwide
