The outlook must not be good at all. Starting to think this really is a sinking ship.

Dang, no more xs and os
@11sjNJ9S-sxu Funny. I was on the All-Hands call. It was a bit of fluff, really... everyone loves everyone else, everyone is wonderful, blah blah blah. Nothing really indicated that any heads will be flying. The initial gut reaction to this news — considering what happened earlier this years and Bill's comments afterwards that there would be no more restructuring while he was CEO — is to assume that this is all leading to another layoff of some sort (huge, highly publicized... or a number of one offs.) But take it from this eternal pessimist – you're so called "inside source" was clearly misleading you. I'm not saying that heads won't fly, in fact its absolutely possible that they will. I'm just saying that nothing on that call would lead anyone to think that there will be further restructuring. Time will tell. But it could just be that your "inside source" may just be very negative about the company overall, either due to what happened in Q1, some perceived slight by his manager, anger that someone is getting something that he/she/it feel is undeserved, etc. Its understandable, really. But peoples livelihoods are what we are talking about here. Perhaps we all take a step back, and communicate in a more measured, less emotional manner. It might lead to a few less sleepless nights, fewer rash decisions, and fewer sensational comments that provide any real insight as to what is actually going on.
@11sjNJ9S-1ifk I love posts like yours. "Drain the swamp again." (Pretty original). And "get rid of all of the useless directors". Said, apparently, by someone who isn't a director. The idea being that you know what to do so... make you a director, right?
Meet the New Boss.
Same as the Old Boss.
Bill said in an all-hands earlier this year that there will not be another restructuring under his reign.
My spontaneous thought was that he already hinted at his limited tenure.
The sh*t finally caught up to Bill but he is laughing with a bagful of cash as he jump the sinking ship. Time to drain the swamp again .... Get rid of all the useless directors (wake up and do an inventory of all the individuals with a director title!!) and it will improve the bottom line. Start with the HR directors from the different regions/companies - they are all self-serving hypocrites.
Messaging is that this is was planned and has been in the pipeline all year. BM told HP that he would not renew his contract post 2020. Staying til years end to help out with the new Co-CEO's.
Just heard the same from an inside source who is currently on the emergency all hands call. Heads will be flying after this. Not surprised but he will get a big bag of cash to leave. Sad for the remaining teams.
Wonder how many millions he gets for leaving SAP such a mess?
Hollywood Bill is out? Got a link?
