Have you complained to your boss or HR lately about an issue in the workplace? Injured at work and filed for workman's comp? Been out on disability or maternity leave? Asked any question that may have management thinking you aren’t on board with today’s program? If so, there is a file with your name on it in the bankers boxes the corporate attorney moves around. Each layoff your file is assessed for legal risk. Each layoff a full package for you is assembled and ready to go. Disability? There is a timer set on your file. Asked that tough question? They review your perceived lack of loyalty. Complained to HR? Discussed is if you will sue or take the agreement. The files along with the summary sheet recommendations constitute a full time job in the legal department. A room full of leaders gather and discuss you and whether this time is your time. The same leaders you may meet with and say hello to in the tower. ...and the person who puts this all together? SVP level attorney. There’s your layoff fun fact kiddies.

You have a legal right to request a full copy of your employment records. Send your written request directly to the human resource department. You need this file to plan your course of action when you get terminated.
Funny how they fire than hire.
I hate how everyone is acting as if nothing is going on in the company. Is everyone’s head in the sand or is everyone in the category of never saw it coming ???
All hail the legal department! We bow before the eminence of MS.
