I blame all to KP corrupt leadership. From Bernard, to cio and his LT's all are corrupt. and they have no clue how to run a business and no clue how many copies of data they have. They are talking about patient care, but their technology cannot even identify right member. Anyways, Yes I am mad because I am being let go. But good luck to you all, did my 7+ years in KPIT.

Too bad this company has got so large that is continues to lure people in, chew them up, and spit them out. In mid-1990's KP was ready to sell off their hospitals, then the Federation was formed by Physicians to prevent that. I was working for a Biomed company out of NY then running Cardiac devices from Sunset (LA), to a local hospital that was being sold off. The lesson learned in the 90's that the leadership did not learn is over-utilization is a bad business practice. I hope everyone well. I went through this churn after a couple of decades at this company. I should have left earlier.
on todays call, we heard there will be more reorgs and we may have to reapply for our positions.
Yes few of in GA and Denver are being let go also.
Hoping to get good packet
well more layoffs were announce today. I work in Oakland office and was given my last day.
Well KP cloud just spent over billion and cio should be fired
The $4 Billion is true. The CEO created over utilization which was well understand when he did this. It happened in the mid-1990's when KP almost sold off all their hospitals. That was when the Federation was created by the Physicians to save KP. But that is another Star Wars story. Someone did not learn at the top when the CFO told him to listend.
someone mentioned they are trying to save 4 billion from IT. I guess they are starting with people in the middle not high about like CTO, CIO, CRO or CDO, SVP's
Those are the ones they should go after.
Yep! After 16 years I was completely blindsided. I was given paperwork and stripped of all access, then escorted out of the building.
anyone what % were impacted. I know KPWA had few layoffs this week.
mostly impacted middle management
