Apparently they are hiring on armed security officers at the beginning of the year, because they are getting ready to toss more employees out the door. Anything to make their numbers look good.
Amdocs Transition : Stole severance , blacklisted against applying for any at&t positions, pension gone, 8 days less vacation, demotion in position and a promise to train other workers in a different country to take over your job. Talk about motivation! AT&T Acquire, Take and Terminate
If we bought AMDOCS, we'd be outsourcing their people to IBM and Accenture withing 2 years
If Amdocs is as great as they said, why is T not buying it?
"Amdocs has been a strong collaborator for years, and we value their agility, technical expertise, and customer-centric approach."
Yea, right. It's bogus. The Tech/Dev org always had great skills and tech expertise. They are hypocrites. I want to see leadership's heads to start spinning when outages start occurring. And they can also enjoy signing-off on all the SOX and other compliance work Amdocs and the other contracted companies will have to comply with. Good luck.
thanks @xco ... like with all the other deals, we probably won't know any details until late next year. For all the transparency BS our leadership spews, Why once a deal is effective they can't publish to the number and names of systems, # of ATT employees and # Contractors sent to to the vendor is just disgraceful.
"Amdocs has been a strong collaborator for years, and we value their agility, technical expertise, and customer-centric approach."......Can anyone at T who have worked with this Team read this with a straight face? OMG
to @lax, this could be related to the Lazzaro news, or even a bigger piece of the pie being moved out. The TechDev name is gone, now time to ship out the people who make it happen.
The objective is to keep the core (level 5 and up) and outside everything else except mobility
anyone know if this if this is more than the Lazarro Outsourcing announced around Halloween?
Nothing new here. Amdoc's built and has been running Telegence since Mobility built it. All the Telegence development went to Amdoc's years ago.
Sounds like they don’t want any employees.
Company is also subcontracting out a lot of tech work to other companies. Too many companies to list here.
So we have DXC, TM, IBM, Amdocs, Accenture, and how many others? One common theme: get rid of American employees...
the email invite is coming in 3,2,1......
