my gut tells me the DS and RB won’t do squat because they come off as having low or typical standards. AE leaving is not really a sign of change and the politicians are really driving in deeper with DS and RB. Expect another year of inaction, people in positions who do not belong there and “the few” having to pick up 90% of the workload.

Give it time. Many know who the dead weights are and who should be in certain roles. It is a shame how Riverbed frivolously promoted people without due diligence. We still have a lot KD weak leaders and leaders no senior persons respect.

@RB get rid of those that peacock too much, those people never go far. Get rid of leaders who have no EQ because that’s what needed, not bean counters , spreadsheet jockeys, training initiators, and process builders - all that stuff is trivial and requires absolutely no strategic thinking and is no longer a priority in today’s modern leader.

Weird and unproven promotions everywhere. Technical sales, VP PM to name additional titles. It’s just so glaringly obvious who needs to be where BUT, as usual, brown nosers will grind harder, the deprecated will pretend to have been doing things right for years. I don’t think the new crew, RB and DS, will do anything because they are not talking the right people.

FOCUS is the most tired and overused/under-executed word at RB. RR used it every other sentence which provided no clear direction.

Same old story lack of leadership .... new IT leader made his one favorite who has his own favorites... repeated injustice to other IT resources, where in favoritism(not by knowledge or skills) favorite people are being promoted.... craziest example is a recent IT Engineer is promoted to a Director role in couple of months....
