Let me tell you what happened at Vz when they did this. About 600 of the 2500 people who were rebadged to Infosys at the same time they had a voluntary enhanced offer for 44,000 others, generated a huge backlash to the c-suite. Most of these 600 people had 20+ years of service and many were already retirement eligible. The company backed down and offered the the same enhanced offer to those 600 that they did to the 44,000. Although it wasn't voluntary (in other words, no option to stay), you still had a choice of taking up to 60 weeks severance versus being rebadged to a foreign company. I don't know the number AT&T rebadged, and your MVO and rebadge didn't occur on the same day as ours did as far as I can tell, but you guys should fight back. What do you have to lose?
