Business is business but to get 100 million dollar package and keep your job while looking to layoff the people that helped create and maintain the company is just sad and disgusting. Wonder what kind of package the employees that maintained the company will end up with. (Unemployment for sure)

Knew if this merger happened Viacom would project their problems onto CBS. Now they are laying people off to pay for this stupid thing which will only accomplish large payouts to top administrators. No synergy to a demoralized rank and file, but they are going to have to learn this the hard way. What a mess!
It is only 1 week for every year of service...no vacation payout...if over 20 years, you get 2 weeks per year over 20. Sh–TY PACKAGE! Cannot collect underemployment until severence ends. They spin it because there is some addditional "payout" but it is only if you don't get a job.
Employees will get 2 weeks for every year of service with the company and half of their vacation time will be paid out.
