If they cut maintenance contractors at Bayway, no work will get done.
Maintenance employees don’t do anything!!

They let go of contractors this month, but of course you didn't hear it on the news because they're not part of "headcount". I did hear if this economy doesn't shape up soon, they'll start letting go of actual employees. And now with what happened with WTI yesterday, I won't be surprised of layoffs happening soon. I don't see how Phillips 66 can continue to hold on to their employees while everyone else in the oil and gas industry is laying off people. I give it by the end if summer the latest.

Reasons we see an overtly anal boss behaving in the manner described here is because their overcompensating for inadequacies and shortcomings real or imagined, they have low self esteem and are perceived as being weak by peers, it hurts employees, hurts moral, damages teams cohesiveness.

Much better if they went back to being single contributors

If someone is harrassing vendors, making them compete directly this is unfair and against company policy, read the code oif ethics, this needs to be reported

And these same supervisors and directors even go as far as creating errors to blame on others and are vindictive and horrible managers speaking total trash about current and former employees. Even those with CPA’s and over 20 years of experience have been thrown under this large bus loaded with horrible people . Some have been fired from other oil companies and have landed here.

Its cra-cra and its not upper management driving people away.

A snakepit, its become very political, wth are low level supervisors doing being political and creating a toxic work environment for employees, contractors and vendors.

Imagine having a boss with daily drama emanating for a very basic support role that should be simple and requiring few layers of whispered intrigue to navigate. Even long time Vendors have been harassed with sophomoric shows of strength,

@klp there aren't any announced layoffs, but the data is clear showing the overwhelming reason people quit a job is leaving a bad boss

No shortage in Bartlesville of anal vindictive bullying ineffective spreadsheet managers
