Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

After handing over the IPO business to Ring Central, what will Avaya sell next?

Fire sale of business units and segments of the company has begun. IPO powered by now has been handed almost free of cost to Ring. What will be on the chopping board next?

News coming from Raleigh is that the devices business is now going to be sold in Q2. Next comes the CC business to Afiniti. Thoughts?

I was laid off 2 years ago, officially retired and from the outside it looks like a SH*% show to me. A once great company hanging on. A combination of bad management and technology getting away from them. My youngest works at a 10 year old business with over 1,000 employees. Nobody a desk phone, it is all app driven, messaging etc. Imagine that. The only phones she knows of are the 10-15 call center agents.

The arrival of a new CPO with experiences in communications services should be a clue. Less product, less software (developed in house) more services.
